Guide 3BThe Shape Workshop

The crew builds a brand-new garden classroom: designing shapes and tiles, fencing the vegetable beds and tiling the kitchen floor. Shapes, symmetry, perimeter and area come alive.

In Dig Deeper with Wobmat, Wobmat the wombat explorer and his friends Pippa, Kip, Nora and the cheeky magpie Mags don't just show you the answer: they get stuck, argue, try things and discover the maths together, in full-colour comic lessons.

Inside Guide 3B:

• 3 chapters, 15 comic lessons: Shapes and Symmetry, Perimeter, Area

• Every idea shown with pictures: blocks, number lines, grids, charts and diagrams

• Wobmat's Notebook after each lesson with the key ideas and worked examples

• 15 "Dig Deeper!" challenge questions, with answers

• A word list of the maths words in the book

Use it with Practice 3B, the matching workbook with exercises for every lesson, and the Wobmat Math Challenge · Explorer puzzle books for contest practice.
