Privacy policy

We collect as little as we can. No advertising, no tracking, no analytics, and we never sell or share your email address.
Who is responsible

What we collect, why and for how long
1. Email sign-up (free printable and book news)
- What: your email address, whether you are a parent, a teacher or other, the language you want emails in, and when you gave and confirmed your consent.
- Why: to send you the free printable and emails about WobMath books. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR article 6.1 a).
- How: after you sign up we send one email asking you to confirm (double opt-in). Nothing else is sent until you confirm.
- How long: until you unsubscribe; then your address is deleted. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted after 7 days.
- Sign-up is for adults (18 or older) only.
Your IP address is used for a short time to stop abuse of the sign-up form (too many attempts) and is deleted after at most 24 hours. It is not stored with your sign-up.
2. Emails you send us
If you email us, we use your message and address to answer you (legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering questions, article 6.1 f). We keep your message only as long as we need it to answer you and handle any follow-up.
3. Server logs
Like every website, our server records technical information about each visit (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) to keep the site running and secure (legitimate interest, article 6.1 f). The website logs are deleted after at most 8 days; the server-wide error log, which records only technical errors, is deleted after at most 15 days.
Who processes data for us
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): our server, in the EU. The sign-up list is stored on this server.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: delivers and protects the website and runs the Turnstile check on the sign-up form. Cloudflare may process your IP address, including outside the EU; transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses.
- MXroute: the email service that hosts our mailbox ([email protected]) and sends our confirmation emails. Its servers are in the USA, so your email address and any message you send us are processed there.
If we start sending newsletters, we will move the list to an email service in the EU and update this policy first.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to its use, and get it in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to us. Email [email protected]; we answer within one month.
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).
Children
Our books are for children, but this website and its sign-up are for parents, teachers and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
